Thank you for visiting Coleea Chinese Cresteds.
My name is BK Lee and along with my 12 year-old daughter, Jee-Won, we are a small kennel for non-business purposes. I am currently working as a website programmer & designer.
In 1989, while studying at Tokai University in Kanagawa-ken, Japan, I used to breed miniature smooth-haired and wire-haired dachshunds. Amazed at dogs, I remember registering every single dog I had at JKC and even entering my dogs to the Japanese Dog Show. After completing my studies my family came back to Korea in 1995. We were still raising dogs until we found out that our beautiful daughter Jee-Won is allergic to dog hair. After two years, we had no other choice but to give away our precious dogs to close friends. It was the painful to part with all our dogs and even more so since we were unable to breed dogs any longer. However, it was the only choice for our daughter's well being.
Then last year, I found out that our daughter's allergic symptoms had disappeared. I decided to breed dogs again. However, knowing what is best for my daughter, I decided on selecting hairless dogs such as the Chinese Crested. In looking for the right dog with good pedigree, I got connected to N'CO Kennel in the U.S. and bought a male puppy, Chan. Chinese Crested is a rare breed in Korea. Although we were unfamiliar with this breed at first, all our family came to love the dog, mesmerized by its charm!
Beginning this year, I plan to enter our dog to the Korea Dog Show and start making a new line for such breed in Korea. With the help of Pam from N'CO, I was able to import American Champion, CASINO NIGHTS N'CO and ONE SMART COOKIE N'CO, a small female pup. Should these dogs become champion in Korea, I plan to start breeding them in making a new line of my own.
Please come visit us often to see how we develop. Thank you for your interest in advance.
And lastly, I wish to sincerely thank Pam for the lovely Chinese dog.
